Gioele è sposato con Jessica e ha tre bambini: Chloe, Amelie e Aaron.

He met Jesus when he was 12, when he got suddenly delivered, during a prayer meeting in a home, by all the fears he had kept inside for years. When he was 14, he got baptized in water in the Evangelical Church of Busto Arsizio he belonged to and entered to be part of the church.

Da 17enne cominciò a frequentare la Chiesa Evangelica di Gallarate; in quegli anni sentì la chiamata al servizio cristiano, anche se ancora non la comprendeva. A 24 anni partì per Londra, mosso dal bisogno di capire meglio cosa Dio volesse da lui. Fu lì che conobbe un gruppo di ragazzi italiani che aveva il desiderio di aprire una chiesa italiana a Londra e capì subito che Dio voleva che si unisse a loro. Insieme piantarono una nuova chiesa, oggi chiamata Living Christian Church.

Dopo circa 3 anni andò a studiare all’International Bible Training Istitute (IBTI). Il suo percorso di studi durò 2 anni, ma la sua permanenza all’IBTI si prolungò per un terzo anno come collaboratore. Durante quest’ultimo periodo Gioele iniziò anche a servire le chiese italiane in Inghilterra come Missionario e Responsabile nazionale dei giovani delle C.C.I.N.E. (Chiese Cristiane Italiane del Nord Europa) in Inghilterra. Rimase circa 2 anni con le chiese italiane e fu in questi anni che sentì la chiamata pastorale.

Proprio mentre rifletteva sul suo futuro, un insegnante dell’IBTI gli offrì una posizione come Pastore nella sua chiesa inglese e, dopo averci pregato su e parlato con Jessica, decise di accettare. Subito dopo le nozze partirono per Thetford e cominciarono a servire il Signore nella Church on the Way di Thetford. Gioele e Jessica hanno curato la comunità per circa 3 anni, ma poi sentirono che era giunto il momento di tornare a casa.

As they got back to Italy in May 2017, they returned to Gioele’s Italian church in Gallarate, starting to nurture a group of believers of the church living in Busto Arsizio and then serving as a member of the Church Council. There was happiness in serving the Lord with the dear people of Gallarate, but the ministerial calling on Gioele’s life was strong.

During the spring 2019 the Holy Spirit reminded Gioele that he had started a missionary-pastoral journey with him in England and that he expected him to continue in the same direction in Italy. After a time for thinking and pray, Gioele and Jessica decided to submit to God’s calling and to make themselves available for God’s work.
